As someone who went to his first con earlier this year, and who spent most of it gibbering internally while externally carrying on conversations with various luminaries of the scene, I'm rather relieved to see that being a published writer doesn't lessen the effect too much! :) BTW, the copy of Infoquake arrived from your publicity people today, so thank you (and thank them).
