		<description>I happen to think that a film version of &lt;em&gt;The Silmarillion&lt;/em&gt; isn't impossible. You'd just need to do it as a handful of interconnected stories. Personally I think an animated (anime?) version would work the best, but a serial TV thing could work too.</description>

		<description>Odd, but I've found that people who are infatuated with The Hobbit really can't get into much of Tolkien's heavier works (such as Silmarillion, like you mentioned), or vice versa. Some of Tolkien's more sprawling histories and generational tales can be a bit hard to follow, though they provide a more impressive undertaking. I do wonder what the film version of the Hobbit is going to turn out like, especially now that it seems Peter Jackson has been yoinked from the project. Let's see someone try a film of the Silmarillion...hmm</description>
