David Louis Edelman is a writer and web programmer. His first book, Infoquake, was nominated for the John W. Campbell Award for Best Novel and named Barnes & Noble's Top SF Novel of 2006. His latest novel, MultiReal, was released in July 2008.

   What do authors want from reviews of their work anyway? I can't speak for anybody other than myself on this one, but what I want is very simple.

   Harriet Klausner, the #1 customer reviewer on Amazon, has given her stamp of approval to "MultiReal." (Of course, if you know anything about Harriet Klausner, you'll take her word with a "2001" monolith-sized chunk of salt.)
3. “Infoquake” Reader Reactions  •  April 27, 2007
   Amazon recently took down a 5-star reader review of "Infoquake," and I'm a little disappointed. Also, I received an email from a woman who claims "Infoquake" is a "guy magnet."
